Comments
I'm very late in writing a comment on this event that happened in Clare my home town during the 2004 world acadian congress. Now that my uncle Herb LeBlanc
is passed I think the time has come for me to speak my peace although this may not be the right forum here it goes.I have been a true spokesmen and artist for the acadian community since the age of 13 i'm now 44 and I have nothing but pride when I think back to what my uncle, my father and myself incuded have done to help preserve it. Please understand I mean no ill will to anyone in saying to the organizers... Thank you for nothing! You all knew I was in town and not one of you bothered to invite me to play with Herb on that day or any other day during the whole congres. for pete's sake I'm a co-writer of the song he performed that day and a world class drummer also (sorry for braging)and I was deeply hurt when this happened. Still to this day the organizers fail to contact me for anything acadian and frankly at this point I will probably not except invitations to do so in the futur . I'm still Acadian I'm still very proud but I don't need you guys to prove my worth Len LeBlanc
